Script ng Buhay.

Yesterday, Mama and I went to St. Pio Church in Libis to hear Mass. Jampacked na sa loob so we stayed outside where there is an LCD screen outside (sorry!). Haha. Anyway, Nagustuhan ko yung homily that moved me so much and I really wanted to share it. So here's the story,

Merong play na magaganap sa isang school, The nativity ang theme, and ALL grade 1 students MUST have a role in that play. All students were already assigned except for one, Robert.

Si Robert, hindi mo naman masasabing mahina siya pero the teachers were afraid to give him a role because they worry that he wouldn't be able to memorize his script well. So to come up with a solution, they decided to give him a role na one liner lang and ang sasabihin lang nya is: "Pasensya na po, wala ng lugar dito", that's it. 

On the day of the play, ang ganda na, scene na where Mama Mary and Joseph were looking for a place to stay kasi anytime manganganak na siya, pero 'til now wala pa din silang nakikitang lugar na pwede sila mag stay.

The teachers are already nervous kasi malapit na yung spotlight ni Robert. Baka makalimutan yung line, masira yung flow ng play.

At Robert's place:

Mama Mary and Joseph: (Knock Knock) Pwede ba kaming mag stay dito kasi manganganak na ako.

Robert: "Pasensya na po, wala ng lugar dito"

Habang papalayo, umiiyak na si Mama Mary, they were both so hopeless because they have no place to stay. Eh dahil nadala si Robert sa scene, umiyak din siya at sobrang naawa, sabay sigaw: "Sandali lang po, meroon pa palang lugar dito, balik po kayo!!"

Natigilan yung mga teachers kasi binago ni Robert yung script, but seeing the audience who were all teary eyed, hinayaan na nila and they were happy with what happened dahil nagustuhan ng mga nanunuod.

So what's the message? Sabi ni Father, now that the year is about to end, maybe we need to CHANGE THE SCRIPT OF OUR LIFE TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON. Wow. sabi ko. Tama si Father, mukhang madami siyang pinatatamaan sa sinabi niyang iyon. Anung ibig sabihin? For example:

1. Sanay ka na pabalang sumagot sa nanay mo, bakit hindi mo baguhin, wala tayong karapatang bastusin ang kahit sinong tao, magulang pa kaya?

2. Lagi kang late sa office dahil tinatamad kang tumayo, bakit hindi mo try sipagin at gumising ng maaga?
 
3. Nagsstay ka sa isang relasyon dahil na lang sa natatakot kang wala ng magmamahal sayo, bakit hindi mo muna subukan ng malaman mo? God has plans to give you the right person to be with, you just have to wait.

4. Hindi ka makausad sa same old grades mo sa school? Baka kailangan ng effort.

5. We are dreaming for something to happen, but is remains as a dream. Then why not do something about it?

6. We're looking for happiness but we're to afraid to make a decision. How about, make the decision and embrace the change including the things and people in it?

Minsan kasi we only settle for what is there. Yung bang nananatili tayo sa nakasanyan na natin. Natatakot tayo sa CHANGE dahil iniisip natin yung mga bagay at tao na pwedeng maapektuhan o mawala once we decided to make that change. Natatakot tayong mag adjust nanaman.

Pero come to think of it, don't we want to become a better person? Don't we want to become happy?

Because if we want to in the very first place,

we will MAKE A MOVE TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE,

RIGHT?
