Dreams. How do you Interpret it?

Last night, I had the weirdest and scariest dream! Hindi ako yung madalas na nanaginip, kadalasan, mabababaw lang, and last night's dream caught my attention, why?

FALLING TEETH! It came to a point that the left side of my mouth (inside) was falling apart. Bungal. Walang ipin! Hindi nakakatuwa.

Naalala ko pa nga while it was happening, sabi ko sana panaginip lang ito kasi sabi nila may mamamatay daw pag ganun yung panaginip, so I did a little research.

Dream Interpretation #1: Teeth falling out in dreams symbolize insecurities

Dream analysts often associate the imagery of teeth falling out with the idea of loss and important life changes. This symbol points to feelings of insecurity or vulnerability regarding a recent event that disrupted your life.

For instance, you could have this type of dream as you are moving, changing jobs, ending a relationship or starting a new one, taking on new responsibilities in your life, etc. These are important life changes that may be reflected in your dream as a traumatic or scary event such as seeing your teeth fall out.

Well, this is quite true for me.

  • Ending a relationship-- nah, other way around. I was abandoned. :,(
  • Changing jobs- could be. From HR to becoming a businesswoman newbie to plans of going back to HR if God will allow it, of course if the business is already stable.
  • Taking on new responsibilities- since I am starting to locate another site for my business or transfer its location to a better and more accessible one.
  • Plans of studying is on my list also!
Trauma yung una, it just doesn't show (anymore) because I am a strong woman. I learned to love myself more, rather than hurting it by crying and wallowing in self pity. It would be unfair to God because He has surrounded with beautiful and wonderful blessings which I might not be able to see and appreciate if I just focus on my problem/s.

The last three, I see it as exciting challenges not as a dilemma. Haha. And I'm willing to take risks. Taking risks teach us how to grow. We fall, we rise, we learn :)

Anyway, what are the other common dreams that have Interpretations?

  1. Animals often represent the part of your psyche that feels connected to nature and survival. Being chased by a predator suggests you're holding back repressed emotions like fear or aggression.
  2. Babies can symbolize a literal desire to produce offspring, or your own vulnerability or need to feel loved. They can also signify a new start.
  3. Being chased is one of the most common dream symbols in all cultures. It means you are feeling threatened, so reflect on who is chasing you (they may also be symbolic) and why they are a possible threat in real life.
  4. Clothes make a statement about how we want other people to perceive us. If you dream symbol is shabby clothing, you may feel unattractive or worn out. Changing what you wear may reflect a lifestyle change.
  5. Crosses are interpreted subjectively depending on your religious beliefs. Some see it as symbolizing balance, death, or an end to a particular phase of life. The specific circumstances will help define these dream symbols.
  6. Exams can signify self-evaluation, with the content of the exam reflecting the part of your personality or life under inspection.
  7. Death of a friend or loved one represents change (endings and new beginnings) and is not a paranormal prediction of any kind. If you are recently bereaved, it may be an attempt to come to terms with the event.
  8. Falling is a common dream symbol that relates to our anxieties about letting go, losing control over a situation, or somehow failing after a success.
  9. Faulty machinery in dreams is often caused by your language centers being shut down while asleep, making it difficult to dial a phone, read the time, or search the internet. It can also represent performance anxiety in life.
  10. Food is said to symbolize knowledge, because it nourishes the body just as information nourishes the brain. Food for thought?
Demons are sneaky evil entities which signify repressed emotions. You may secretly feel the need to change your own behaviors for the better.
  11. Hair has significant ties with sexuality, according to Freud. Abundant hair may symbolize virility, while cutting hair off in a dream shows a loss of libido. Hair loss may also express a literal fear of going bald or becoming unattractive.
  12. Hands are always present in dreams but when they are tied up it may represent feelings of futility. Washing your hands may express guilt. Looking closely at your hands in a dream is a good way to become lucid.
  13. Houses can host many common dream symbols, but the building as a whole represents your inner psyche. Each room or floor can symbolize different emotions, memories and interpretations of meaningful events.
  14. Killing in your dreams does not make you a closet murderer; it represents your desire to "kill" part of your own personality. It can also symbolize hostility towards a particular person and the desire to see them suffer.
  15. Marriage may be a literal desire to wed or a merging of the feminine and masculine parts of your psyche.
  16. Missing a flight or any other kind of transport is another popular dream, showing your frustration over possibly missing out on important opportunities in life. It's most common when you're struggling to make a big decision.
  17. Money can symbolize self worth. If you dream of exchanging money, it may show that you're anticipating some changes in your life.
  18. Mountains are obstacles, so to dream of successfully climbing a mountain can reveal a true feeling of achievement. Viewing a landscape from atop a mountain can symbolize a life under review without conscious prejudice.
  19. Nudity is one of the most common dream symbols, revealing your true self to others. You may feel vulnerable and exposed to others. Showing off your nudity may suggest sexual urges or a desire for recognition.
  20. People (other dream characters) are reflections of your own psyche, and may demonstrate specific aspects of your own personality.
  21. Radios and TVs can symbolize communication channels between the conscious and subconscious minds. When lucid, ask them a question...
  22. Roads, aside from being literal manifestations, convey your direction in life. This may be time to question your current "life path".
  23. Schools are common dream symbols in children and teenagers but what about dreaming of school in adulthood? It may display a need to know and understand yourself, fueled by life's own lessons.
  24. Sex dreams can symbolize intimacy and a literal desire for sex. Or they may demonstrate the unification of unconscious emotions with conscious recognition, showing a new awareness and personal growth.
  25. Teachers, aside from being literal manifestations of people, can represent authority figures with the power to enlighten you.
  26. Teeth are common dream symbols. Dreaming of losing your teeth may show a hidden fear of getting old and being unattractive to the opposite sex.
  27. Being trapped (physically) is a common nightmare theme, reflecting your real life inability to escape or make the right choice.
  28. Vehicles may reflect how much control you feel you have over your life - for instance is the car out of control, or is someone else driving you?
  29. Water comes in many forms and can symbolize the subconscious mind. Calm pools of water reflect inner peace while a choppy ocean can suggest unease.

So there, I hope this might help you with your dreams. This MIGHT be true, but it is still US who'll make the final interpretation, besides, tayo naman gumagawa ng desisyon at landas na tatahakin natin. LALIM!!! :))

Business took Over

As far as I can remember, It's been 4 months since my last entry. Hindi ko naman ikakaila na naging busy ako with "THE" Business that we've been waiting for almost 2 years. 2 years kasi we made a reservation dun sa commercial space 2 years ago. Same thing, I also franchised 2 years ago.

Akala namin hindi na matutuloy. Well sa pagkakakilala ko sa sarili ko, I'm good in waiting, if I feel that it's worth waiting for.

January 2013, the lessor said that we can already start with the construction kasi may permit na yung building (SA WAKAS!). Fast track lahat, starting with the construction, pagbili ng supplies, paghahanap ng empleyado, and pag rresign must all be planned and done in a month!

Just to give you an idea, I would like to share what i know. Hindi naman ako expert. I'm new at this. I did not even planned where I am right now, it just happened. Kaya for those people who wants to put up a business of their own, hope this would help

THE PROCESS

1. LOCATION- Location is very important. Nagkalat diyan ang mga samu't saring food carts or even those companies who offers franchise business, but how sure are you that it'll earn kung wala kang STRATEGIC LOCATION? You may have the best products, pero for example sa tabi ng school mo siya ilalagay, sa tuwing walang pasok, bakasyon ng mga bata, konti ang enrolless, it may not earn as much kasi limited to students lang.

My business is located along Marcos Highway cor. Ligaya. Sakayan siya ng mga empleyado, students, all sorts of people going to and from Pasig, Antipolo, Marikina, Rizal. With these kind of customers, mawalan man ng pasok ang mga studyante, meron paring empleyado or yung mga nagagawi lang sa lugar kasi dun ang sakayan. And that's what I meant about Location, hindi namimili ng pagbibilhan kasi open sa lahat.

2. PRODUCT - Kahit anong ibenta mo, basta may customer ka, walang problema. Although food ang naisip ko because it's a necessity. Lahat ng tao nagugutom every day.

Kaya I chose siopao, siomai, and fried noodles. It's healthy, nakakabusog, and madali kainin kahit na naka tayo ka or nasa jeep.

For example your location is sa palengke, mga customer mo ay mga nanay, mostly. Kung ako nanay, busy ako sa mga anak ko at sa trabaho, wala nakong time magluto, hahanap ako ng pwedeng bilhan ng pagkain na ready to eat! Merong franchise dyan na rice in a box, or siomai na issteam mo lang, ulam na!

Or if you belong in a huge community, may tricycle terminal dyan for sure, it's either you cater to their hungry tummies OR sell motor parts kasi meron at meron masisiraan ng tricycle dyan. That's a great business also.

Think of real scenarios :)

Below is the link that might help you find your dream franchise for an affordable amount. You have tons of choice depending sa need mo. And of course, they offer the best promos. Saktong natyempuhan ko naman yung BUY 1 Take 1 Promo nila. Was able to avail these two for P26, 888 ONLY!!!

3. FINANCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY READY ka na ba?

-Aba napaka importante nito. It will take MOST of your time lalo na pag magsstart ka palang. Hindi naman pwedeng absent ka ng absent para makakuha ng permits*, pag may hindi ka nagampanang agenda for the day iiyak ka, or pag napuyat or napagod ka, magmamaktol ka at susuko, minsan magkakasakit pa.

*Permits:
a. DTI
b. Mayor's Permit
c. Brgy Clearance
d. Health Certificate

When the time came na kailangan ko na ifastrack lahat dahil kailangan ko na kumita bago pa man ako singilin sa renta, I knew that I have to resign from work. With the stress sa work plus yung stress pa pag sstart ng business, sasabog ka talaga. At least, I was able to focus on the things that need to be done, ano yung mga kulang, ano pa yung mga kailangan, I can interview applicants anytime. I can run my errands for the permits that I need to accomplish before opening, etc. It really takes a lot of hardwork and patience because not everything turns out well everyday.

Financially ready, I am so blessed that my Mother helped me out. And with my little savings, kahit paano nakatulong din naman sa pag bili bili. I'm just so thankdul na so far, wala na akong inaabonohan. And I'm praying na mag tuloy tuloy :)

Ano ano ba mga kailangan bayaran at paghandaan financially?
1. Deposit and Advance rental payment
2. Supplies
3. Stocks
4. Payment sa mga Permits
5. Transportation expenses
6. Store/ Cart Improvement
7. Pasahod sa mga gumagawa ng store mo

Puyat at pagod ang magiging kalaban mo talaga pero if you love what you do, hindi mo na mararamdaman yun, kung baga matutulog kang nakangiti because you know you did a great job. It was a huge adjustment for me because I was hired as Part Time pa din in the same company. My store closes at 12mn, I have to go to work the following day at 8 am- 5pm, go to the store til 12mn. Naging ganun ang takbo ng buhay ko for the past months. But now that I am almost fully resigned, I was able to give more time for my business.

4. NOW... WHAT'S YOUR GOAL?

Set your goal, what's next for you? Long term goal ko is to branch out. And I know that this is not impossible kung alam mo sa sarili mong nagsisikap ka.

                        ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With this experience, I am just so thankful to God first of all for letting this happen.

There's nothing wrong being an employee, but if you can afford to also put up a business while working, better. Iba kasi talaga yung fulfillment and joy once you have your own. :)
